Lacing activity helps a child to stay focused and perform a repetitive task independently. It strengthens their fingers, muscles and bones and it also improves their hand and eye coordination.

Lacing the Shape Blocks.

Raeyan could stay focused and accomplish his first lacing task. I used Melisa Doug’s wooden geometry stacker as an alternative big beads for lacing.

DIY-Homemade Lacing Board:

Materials : Cardboard, Colour Paper, Small Stick, Straw and Yarn.

Insert the stick with the yarn into the straws to reach the end.

Rafael helps the papa bird to find its way to the nest.

DIY-Homemade Shirt Lacing Activity

Materials – Cardboard, Puncher, Colour Paper, Small Stick and Yarn.

Raeyan puts a lot of effort and concentration to insert the yarn in and out of the holes.

Beading Activity:

MaterialsBeads and Wire.

Rafael made a purple necklace for his grandma. It was very interesting and we had so much fun.
