VOLCANO EXPERIMENT

MATERIALS

  • Playdough
  • Food color
  • Baking Soda
  • Vinegar
  • Bottle
  • Tray
  • Spoon

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE EXPERIMENT

  1. Make a Playdough
  2. Mold the playdough around the bottle like a mountain
  3. Mix the food color with baking soda and insert it into the bottle (volcano)
  4. Pour the vinegar gently into the volcano

The mixture of the baking soda with vinegar will produce the carbon dioxide gas as bubbles. It will be like an erupted volcano.
